This was yet another long and fairly tedious week. We almost have all the work done on out stairs, banisters and railings. We just have one more coat of varnish to put down, and we are done. But everything looks just great, even better than new! We took our time to do things right and were very careful with every step. It’ll be at least 20 years before any of that woodwork needs to be redone!
The next phase of our “home facelift” is to redo all the cabinets in our kitchen. We have to take them all down, strip them and refinish them. They are made from high quality oak so there is no need to replace them. They just need a good refinishing.
