This house was a “Repo” and so had all sorts of problems. The last people to live here were renters who were truly pigs. The house was an absolute mess with all sorts of problems. I really really don’t understand people like that as they have no self-pride or even self-worth to allow conditions to deteriorate so much. But, that’s just the way some people are, unfortunately. We did have the house inspected by both a certified inspector and a good friend of ours who builds homes for a living, so we knew about all the problems in the house when we bought it. We did get it at a cheap price, so putting in close to $100K is worth it to us to get the house we want.
Along with the various problems we are dealing with, the people never changed any filters or maintained the water system. For water, we are on a deep drilled well, and this area has very hard water along with iron and sulfides in it. The pressure tank bladder was leaking, the filters were a solid mess, the UV water purifier was burned out, and someone pulled out the softener! We changed the filters, but had to order everything else. So for the past month, we have had no potable drinking water and even using it for washing left really bad hard water stains and a bad smell from the iron and sulfides. We have been buying a ridiculous amount of bottled water to get by.
Finally, all the components came in, and the plumber is here right now installing everything! By tomorrow, I will finally have nice clean drinking water! I can’t wait for that first shower too π
I also have the guy in doing the second coat of plastering for the walls. He expects to be finished it all tomorrow and I can finally start painting the house. It really needs it too! I don’t know who decorated this place, but their colour sense was truly atrocious! I have rooms where every wall is a different colour, one that has black, green, yellow, and pink walls…ll in the same room! Every wall in this house is a different colour.
The first room I am getting to is our new bedroom and bathroom. I need to get that primed and painted, then the bathroom vanities installed, then the flooring, the finally the doors all put in. After that, I can start on the rest of the house. I spent the last year redoing 44oo square feet of my old house and here I am starting all over again on a new house! I am a glutton for punishment π
My previous post briefly mentioned what I did on Saturday and Sunday and I mentioned I would share some of the pictures we snapped with my iPhone. We went out to a local restaurant on Saturday as we heard the ribs were supposed to be very good, and they were, but very big.Β They are big because they leave on the flap meat and rib tips, which are great eating (I am married to an avid “smoker” so have learned about meats). I ordered a half rack, or 7 ribs, and all I could eat was 4!
After dinner, we just headed back home. I was really hoping to find some people to play with, but I still have to meet people and make some Booty Call friends around here. That is the problem in moving…you also move away from your “regulars”. Hopefully it won’t be long before I find suitable people to play with. I didn’t do a thing last night. We went out to eat, then came home and watched a movie. About midnight, we sat out on our front porch, fully naked of course, and enjoyed the warm evening. We had pizza for dinner last night as we didn’t know what to make. Pizza is always a good fall back and we have a good local place for it. After we ate, we headed over to the local bar last night and when we pulled up, the bar owner was outside having a cigarette. There was no one there! As we chatted with her, a patron pulled up, so that made three customers. A couple of friends from Montreal showed up soon after, and 8 more people came in…that was it! There was supposed to be karaoke but the people doing it were double booked and the owner told them to go to the other bar. That ended up pulling a lot of people away.
We ended up staying at the bar until 2:30 (half an hour after close) and then headed back home with our friends. The owner came over for a drink on her ay home, and once again, I didn’t get to bed until after 4:00 in the morning. The big problem was no sex! Today was just great! I had no contractors over so I could actually get a little cleaning done and then spend a few hours in the sun. It was hot and sunny but at least we didn’t have the humidity we had yesterday. I just laid out back naked from 10:00 until about 1:00 in the afternoon. One of my new neighbours was sure hanging out in his backyard for quite a while, he really was trying to get a good look! Danny did snap some pictures of me with my iPhone which I uploaded to my Twitter picture thing. Now I’ll just be using my new Picture Blog for all that π

Tonight we’ll be heading over to our new local bar about 9:00pm. Last week, we had a bunch of friends from Montreal join us, but this week, we’ll be alone. It is good as it’s easier to meet and talk with the other locals and get to know the neighbours. The bar is really fun and is a typical small town Dive Bar (I mean that in the best possible way) with a really relaxed atmosphere and friendly people. Plus the drinks are nice and cheap, and free-poured!
I don’t plan to drink as much as I did last week. That just ended up with me in bed all day Saturday with one serious hangover. But at least a bunch of cute guys came out last week, and hopefully even more will show up this week. I am ready to play! Some of the guys heard that I was going to be there and came out to meet me, although they never aid as much to me. But local gossip gets around really fast π

I just set up a new Blog that is just for candid pictures I take throughout the day on my iPhone. Now you’ll be able to see what I am doing as I am doing it! I was using another site for this and it was tied to my Twitter account, but I thought I would keep it all “in-house” so to speak. Since our house was full of contractors, and it was o noisy and messy, I really couldn’t do much. I spent a couple of hours on-line handling my e-mail and messages, and that was about it. Danny was bugging me to go suntan naked on the back deck, but I didn’t want to distract the workers! We’re paying them to work, not look at me naked π
We went out at noon to look at some tiles for the bathrooms and front entrance, then grabbed a coffee and went to check out the local park. It was a good excuse to snap a couple of outdoor flashing pictures that I uploaded from my phone to my Twitter account for all my friends on there. I’ve been doing that quite a bit lately since I figured out how to do it on my new iPhone π
We drove around for a bit, checking out the new area, then headed back home. I say out on the back deck, and the sun was so hot I couldn’t help but drop the top of my dress to get sun on my boobs! At this point I didn’t care if the workers saw, it was just too hot. I know that they couldn’t help but see as I was sitting just outside of the window of the room they were working in π
The guys left at 5:00, and we BBQed some steal and chicken for dinner. Danny bought his new Weber Performer charcoal grill a couple of weeks ago and has been using it almost daily. We haven’t even uncovered our gas grill since he got it! Dinner was great, then we went for some ice cream.
After the sun went down and the oppressive heat started to let up, I went out on the front porch and just sat there naked for over an hour. I have been doing this every evening it has been nice. I watch the cars drive by and they don’t even notice me sitting there. Of course, if they did look closely, they would easily see a naked woman sitting out in front of a house! Danny grabbed my iPhone and snapped a few pictures of me. The quality sucks, but you get the idea of how you’ll find me most nice evenings. I do love to be naked and the country is great for being able to do that.
The weather today is going to suck, so I won’t be outside naked today! First off, the heat will be insane, up around 37C (close to 100F) withΒ Humidex of 45C (around 115F). Not only that, we’re probably going to have a huge thunderstorm due to the heat and humidity! It is supposed to clear up later this evening, and if it does, I’ll be back outside in my favourite chair, naked, and watching the world go by π
The contractors did get quite a bit of work done yesterday. All the drywall is up and the taping and plastering has started. The plumber got everything in place and hooked up my new large shower. We completely moved the bathroom, so they had to plumb in for the shower, 2 new vanities and the toilet. We also got him to change the plumbing and fixtures for the 2 other main floor bathtub/showers as the equipment was old. The electricians have everything in, and all we have to do is install what we want to know.
Today, the guys are just working on the taping and plastering and will need one more day for that. Once they are done, we will be priming and painting, then installing the bathroom cabinetry and fixtures. We then have to tile the bathroom floor and install the new hardwood flooring we bought (luckily, we have a very good friend who is a floorer by trade and will be helping). We bought enough hardwood to do the entire main floor, expensive, but it’ll look amazing when we are done.

This is just the start of the renovations. We are also completely changing all the bathrooms and changing all the flooring in the house. Of course, we have to fix and paint every surface of the house too! That work we’ll be doing ourselves. And that’s just for this year! Next year will be a new kitchen and all the stuff we need to do outdoors with a new deck and landscaping.
Yesterday, the plumber said he would be back at 8:30 and the guys doing the drywall said they would be here at 9:00. So I wasn’t rushing, but did have to have a shower first thing before the plumber had to turn the water off. But at 7:10 I hear all sorts of noise outside, open my blinds to have a look, and was staring in the face of one of the guys who is doing our new eavestrough! That was a bit of a shock, especially considering I was still naked! They were supposed to call before they came, and since I never heard from them, I didn’t expect them today.
Once again I have a house full of contractors making amazingly loud noise! I have loud noises from the roof, my future bedroom and the basement. It is crazy! I can’t wait until they are done so I can both get back to my nude sunbathing and also start all the finishing work on the house!

We had the guys doing our drywall show up at 9:00 as they said they would, but at 8:00, the plumber showed up! We weren’t expecting him until Thursday. I also have the guy who is putting up new eavestroughs show up a day early, so there are people all through my house, both inside and out!
So much for my nude sunbathing today! And the weather is pefect for it to. Nice warm temperature and lower humidity that we have had. Danny told me to just go do it anyway, but I really don’t want to impose myself on the guys working. After all, we are paying them to work, not stop and look at me π
I may get some tanning in later on, but I’ll see how it goes. We’ll have people in and out all week as we get all sorts of things done. We have another plumber coming on Thursday to completely change our water filtration and softening system. We’re on a deep drilled well, but no one looked after it the past few years and it needs to be completely changed. That’s another $2300!
