I didn’t do a thing this weekend. We stayed in all weekend and just relaxed. But we had one huge problem…our water stopped running! We are out in the country so have a drilled well.Β The pressure in our pressure tank slowly started reducing, until it just went to nothing! My husband did get a bit worried, so before we lost all pressure, he filled one bathtub to make sure we had water to fill the toilet tank when needed, just in case.
My husband went through everything and thought it was the mechanical pressure switch, but wasn’t sure. He doesn’t have the proper testing tools, so could properly verify that. Being the weekend, we weren’t going to call the plumber and get double charged, so we waited until this morning. The plumber just left, and my husband was right, it was the pressure switch.
Now everything is working, and I can finally have a shower!! π
@CarolCox Hurrah! Nothing like a plumbing issue make us appreciate reliable running water.

I suppose you made-do with Golden Showers in the interim? π
You could always take a Golden Shower. My faucet is always open 24/7.
No, the pressure tank was changed last year, and we should have also changed the pressure switch when we did that. It was 20 years old. Everything is working fine now π
Actually, yes! π
