I guess that recently, this has turned into a weekly Blog and not a daily one. I would post more if I had anything different to say! Every day has been basically the same, just working on the house. I feel like I sound like a broken record with all the recent stuff, imagine if it was daily! I wish I could be like those other girls with Blogs who are able to write out fantasy stories every day, or just post a lot of nothing. But that’s just not me! I don’t have the imagination to do that fantasy writing, nor do I want to bore you with my day-to-day life. I feel like I’m already doing too much of that!
I was at the bar last friday and did meet a couple of cute young gusy who wanted to play. Before I went to the bar, I was ready to play but by the time they got there the week had caught up with me and I was just too beat and down to do anything. Sorry guys. We ended up staying until almost midnight then just went home to bed. I am getting boring in my old age 😉
On Saturday we went to a friend’s place for dinner, and even though they were Swingers, nothing at all happened. Then on Sunday, we had to go up to my Father-in-law’s for a family thing. It was quite a slow weekend. Through the week we worked on the house and also went to Ontario to look at some homes to buy, but nothing caught my fancy. We’ll be back out there next week to look at some more.
The good news is our house is almost finished! Just one bedroom to finish in the basement…and that is finally it! We just totally redecorated and renovated 4400 square feet of floor space, which is more than enough work for anyone. But it all looks great and feels so new.
I’ll be at the bar tonight as I always am, and as usual, everyone is welcome to join me. I won’t be playing tonight as it is that “wrong time of the month”. Okay, I am off to the shower to get this basement grime off of me! I spent 3 hours scrubbing and cleaning the basement bathroom. Ugh!
