The Long Weekend

This is our long weekend in Canada, and I do know that the long weekend (Memorial Day) is next weekend for our friends to the South. In Canada, it is Victoria Day, but in Quebec (since we are supposed to hate all thing English) it is called “Journée nationale des Patriotes” (National Patriot’s Day).

I have no plans at all for this long weekend, and since the weather doesn’t seem to be cooperating, I doubt I will be spending any time outside. I will be heading over to my local bar, Bourbon Street West, for Happy Hour and later. As usual, I will be hanging out with friends (both old and new) and getting silly and crazy. Of course, like every week, everyone is welcome to come out and join us! Hell, you may even get some 😉

I have no idea how late we will be staying at the bar tonight and if we are even going to do anything afterwards. I’ll just take that as it comes. If someone has a hot idea, come on by and let me know.

As for Saturday and Sunday (and even Monday), I don’t have a single thing on the schedule. Kira Silver is back in town, and I will be meeting up with her tonight. So, if she has time, we’ll probably get together for some fun over the weekend.
